Wilderness Gate has begun establishing its presence in Botswana, with the successful training of eight new church planters in June 2025. This momentum continues through the transformative FARM STEW programme in the Loologane settlement, within the Sojwe District. By introducing positive lifestyle changes rooted in the Gospel, the initiative directly addresses high levels of alcoholism and its associated challenges. Local community members have warmly embraced the programme, successfully cultivating nutritious vegetables previously unknown to the area. Building on this success, a second training session is scheduled for late June 2026 for local volunteers and new planters.
