Eneless Malumani’s Journey of Transformation

Eneless Malumani’s life was transformed when FARM STEW arrived in her village of Matengu, within the Mumuni community. From the moment she heard about the initiative, she was captivated. Determined to make the most of what she learnt, Eneless eagerly attended every meeting and put her new knowledge into practice.

Her enthusiasm didn’t go unnoticed, but it did raise concerns among the leaders of her church, as the FARM STEW sessions were held in a Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Despite this, Eneless remained committed and encouraged her husband and friends to join her. She became a trailblazer in her community, the first to set up a rocket stove, a plate rack, two waste and compost pits, and a kitchen garden.

Stepping Up as a Volunteer

After five months, FARM STEW decided it was time to train volunteers. Eneless was the natural choice. Her active participation and thoughtful contributions during the lessons stood out. Her ability to explain concepts in the local language made her an ideal candidate.

The training equipped volunteers with the skills to teach their communities, and Eneless excelled. When it was her turn to present, her delivery was outstanding. She not only mastered the practical lessons but also embraced the biblical teachings that accompanied them. Brother John Mubiana, a dedicated instructor, skilfully wove faith into the sessions, reaching the hearts of the participants.

A New Chapter of Faith

Two months later, an evangelistic campaign came to the village. It was during this event that Eneless made a life-changing decision. She gave her heart to Christ and was baptised into the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Today, Eneless is a passionate volunteer and an active member of her new church. Her journey is set to continue as she prepares to be elevated to the role of a “planter” in the upcoming training sessions.

A Story of Transformation

Eneless’s story is just one of many lives being transformed through FARM STEW. Each success is a testament to the power of dedication, faith, and the generosity of FARM STEW International’s partners and donors. All the glory goes to God for the remarkable changes taking place in communities like Matengu.
